Agent pricing and funding
Before generation, check the model's required inputs, your account's eligibility, the balance or subscription that will pay, and the estimate for those exact settings.
#Choose the right balance

The billing guide explains token selection and approval controls. Model documentation and the API reference describe accepted settings. Estimates depend on dimensions, duration, steps, count and model; avoid hard-coding a price from an example.
#Fund an account
Use the dashboard for supported card purchases or subscription management. For USDC/USDT, follow Pay with Crypto and use the exact current invoice instructions. Wait for the credits or entitlement to appear before generating. A checkout return page alone is not proof of credited funds.
An account API key does not authorize an agent to create purchases through the existing billing routes. Do not give an agent a card number, CVC or wallet seed phrase. Account-free x402 and direct agent card payments are not a qualified path in this guide (as of September 2026).
#Understand cost controls
max_estimated_capacity_units and confirm_cost govern media estimates and approval on supported durable requests. They are not a total USD budget covering every charge. LLM inference bills as consumed and has separate spend events. Do not describe a media ceiling as a monthly or account-wide spending guarantee.
Review the cost-control contract for the chosen endpoint. If a reliable estimate is unavailable, ask the user to choose how to proceed before submitting work whose cost has not been authorized.
