Account Types & Sign-in
There are two ways to have a Sogni account. Both give you the full creative toolkit — images, video, music, Spark purchases, Sogni Unlimited, rewards and the API. They differ only in the wallet features you can use.
#The two account types
#Username & password account
You created your account with a Sogni username and password. This account type has full access to your Sogni wallet: send and receive tokens, move balances between your account and your wallet, stake SOGNI, and export your wallet to an external wallet app.
You can also add Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple to this account — see Add Google or Apple sign-in below.
#Google or Apple account
You signed up with Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple, so there is no Sogni password. Your balances are yours, and you can spend, earn and buy exactly like any other user. Wallet actions that need a Sogni password — transfers, deposits and withdrawals, staking, and exporting the wallet — are not available on this account type.
Signed in with Google or Apple on a password account? If your account also has a Sogni password and you are currently signed in through Google or Apple, wallet actions (and deleting the account) will ask you to sign out and sign back in with your username and password. Your account and balances are the same either way.
#How to tell which type you have
- Open Settings in Sogni Create. A username & password account shows a Wallet address in the Profile card; a Google or Apple account shows only the username.
- Wherever a feature is unavailable, the app tells you: "…isn't available for accounts that sign in with Google" (or Apple).
#What is available to each account type
| Feature | Username & password | Google / Apple |
|---|---|---|
| Create images, video and music (all apps) | ✅ | ✅ |
| Buy Spark Points — card, in-app purchase or crypto | ✅ | ✅ |
| Sogni Unlimited subscription | ✅ | ✅ |
| Referral & reward claims | ✅ | ✅ |
| Claim worker earnings and airdrops to your account or Spark Points | ✅ | ✅ |
| View account balance, wallet balance and transaction history | ✅ | ✅ |
| API key, Creative Agent Skill and running a Fast Worker | ✅ | ✅ |
| Delete your account | ✅ | ✅ |
| Change email address | ✅ | — |
| Send SOGNI, ETH or XTZ from your wallet | ✅ | — |
| Receive tokens at your wallet address | ✅ | — |
| Deposit wallet → account, withdraw account → wallet | ✅ | — |
| Stake SOGNI, re-stake, auto-restake | ✅ | — |
| Claim earnings or airdrops into stake, auto-claim to stake | ✅ | — |
| Export your wallet to an external wallet app | ✅ | — |
| Recover access if you lose your credentials | Reset with your recovery code | Sign in with the same Google / Apple account |
Don't send tokens to a Google or Apple account's wallet address. That account cannot move tokens out of its wallet, so anything sent there cannot be used. To top up a Google or Apple account, buy Spark Points instead.
#Manage your account (Settings in Sogni Create)
Open the account menu (your username, top right) or the Settings item in the side navigation. The page groups everything about your account:
| Card | What you can do |
|---|---|
| Profile | See your username, and your wallet address (username & password accounts only). |
| Sign-in methods | See how you sign in, and enable Google or Apple sign-in on a password account (see below). |
| Appearance | Follow your system theme, or choose light or dark. |
| Content preferences | Turn the Sensitive Content Filter on or off, and choose whether it turns back on at startup. |
| Saved generation settings | Choose whether Sogni keeps your prompts and settings for Recent Projects, and delete the ones it holds. |
| Account services | Shortcuts to Wallet & billing (balances, transfers, purchases, subscription) and Share & earn (referrals, rewards, claims). |
| Account deletion | Permanently delete your account. Username & password accounts confirm with the password; Google or Apple accounts confirm by typing the username. |
#Add Google or Apple sign-in to a password account
If you have a username & password account, you can enable Sign in with Google or Sign in with Apple for it — same account, same balances, one more way in.
- In Sogni Create, sign in with your username and password and open Settings → Sign-in methods.
- Choose Continue with Google or Continue with Apple and pick the account whose email matches your Sogni email (the card shows it). For Apple, choose Share My Email — a hidden relay address can't be matched.
- The card now shows that provider as Enabled, and from then on Continue with Google / Continue with Apple on the sign-in screen opens this account.
Good to know:
- One provider per account, and it can't be removed or switched later.
- Changing your account email turns Google / Apple sign-in off permanently. Password sign-in keeps working.
- While you are signed in with Google or Apple, wallet actions (send, receive, deposit, withdraw, stake, export) and deleting the account ask you to sign back in with your password. Everything else works as usual.
- "Doesn't match your Sogni email" — you picked a different Google / Apple account, or Apple hid your email. Try again with the matching account and Share My Email.
- "Already connected to a different Sogni account" — that Google / Apple identity already signs in to another Sogni account. Accounts can't be merged.
- "You already have a Sogni account registered with this email" on the sign-in screen — you tried Google / Apple before enabling it. Sign in with your password, then enable it in Settings.
#Need the full wallet features?
A Google or Apple account cannot add a password, so it cannot become a username & password account. If you need to send, deposit, withdraw or stake tokens, create a username & password account (which can then also enable Google or Apple sign-in).
A new account is a separate account. It starts with its own empty balances — Spark Points, SOGNI, subscription, rewards and history are not shared or moved between your Google / Apple account and a username & password account. Keep using the account that holds your balance for everything it can do; use the new one only for the wallet features you need.
Everything else — Spark, Unlimited, rewards, the API and the apps — works the same on both account types.
