Learn about processing settings within Sogni

This module provides you with the flexibility to explore various optimization settings. ‍ While Sogni strives to select the best configuration for your device, it may not always be optimized for your specific computer setup. Therefore, you have the opportunity to experiment with these settings and identify the combination that delivers better performance on your system, considering factors such as generation speed, heat, model initiation times, and image quality. ‍ For Macs with less than 16 GB of RAM, the 'CPU, Neural Engine' remains a good option, especially under a reasonable system load from other applications. ‍ Please note that adjusting these settings may trigger downloads of additional model variants and may produce slightly different generation results. Here are a few tips to consider: ‍ • Original version models, which run exclusively on 'CPU, GPU,' generally produce slightly better images than the SPLIT_EINSUM versions used with the Neural Engine. ‍ • Model initialization tends to be quicker with the 'CPU, GPU' option. ‍ • 'CPU, GPU' can lead to higher computer temperatures compared to options that involve the Neural Engine.
