# 🚀Supernet: Testnet to Mainnet

The **Sogni Supernet** is a Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network (DePIN) — a global mesh of GPUs that processes creative AI jobs for Sogni's apps and developers. It launched on **Base**, an Ethereum Layer-2 blockchain, and now uses **Etherlink** as the default layer for faster, lower-cost transactions.

This page covers the network's journey from public testnet to today's live mainnet, and what stayed the same for users along the way.

The Sogni Supernet is live on **Base mainnet**, with **SOGNI** as the official ERC-20 token. Worker License NFTs, leaderboard airdrops, staking, and Premium Spark purchases all run on-chain in production.

-   **SOGNI** is tracked on [CoinMarketCap](https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/sogni-ai/) and [CoinGecko](https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/sogni-ai).
-   **Etherlink** is supported as the default low-fee layer. Workers can bridge their Worker License NFT from Base to Etherlink to earn an automatic **2% settlement bonus** — see [Etherlink NFT Bonus](https://docs.sogni.ai/rewards/etherlink-nft-bonus/).
-   **Spark Points** offer a stable, wallet-free way to pay for renders. Purchases run through Stripe in **195 countries and 135 currencies**.
-   **Seasonal leaderboard airdrops** distribute SOGNI every 6 weeks across Artist, Staking, Ambassador, and announced worker-incentive tracks. Subscription worker revenue share is accounted by UTC month, not by leaderboard season; any seasonal worker SOGNI incentive is tracked separately from the monthly revenue-share pool — see [Leaderboards](https://docs.sogni.ai/rewards/leaderboards/).

Login still works at the same apps and URLs. Testnet accounts carried over to mainnet automatically, and any airdrop migration is handled in-app.

**The experience you know.**  
Sogni Studio, Pocket, Web, Fast and Relaxed Workers, Photobooth, and the SuperApps all work as they did during testnet.

**It's still free to start.**  
The **Monthly Boost** (400 Spark/month), referral rewards, quests, and contests give free ways to create and participate.

Sogni ran a public testnet through four phases to validate scalability, rewards, and worker reputation before the mainnet switch:

1.  **Supernet Launch** — unlimited parallel renders to test scalability.
2.  **Token Integration + Rewards** — real-time incentives and usage tracking.
3.  **Worker NFT Licenses + Creator Royalties** — performance-gated access for high-throughput workers.
4.  **Mainnet Readiness + Token Generation Event (TGE)** — final pre-launch staging.

At the mainnet switch, all `tSOGNI` and testnet Spark balances were retired, and eligible testnet users received SOGNI airdrops based on their final leaderboard rank.

**SOGNI** is a transferable ERC-20 token on Base, with availability extended to Etherlink. It powers the decentralized economy behind the Sogni protocol — enabling artists to pay for creative services, workers to earn for contributing compute, and community members to stake for visibility, rewards, and future governance.

**Spark Points** are on-chain prepaid credits for a smooth, wallet-free experience. They offer stable pricing for renders, can be purchased with traditional payment methods, and are also rewarded through the Monthly Boost and quests. While recorded on-chain, Spark Points are non-transferable and can only be spent within the Sogni platform.

Together, these two assets form the foundation of the Sogni ecosystem — blending accessibility with true decentralized ownership.
